Election Results

All 3 of us were elected!  Thank you, everyone who supported us and helped us to a massive victory both in Frodsham & Helsby and in the new Council area.  Imagine a Conservative Council for all of Chester, Ellesmere Port, Northwich, Winsford and of course Frodsham & Helsby!

We've taken 53 of the 72 seats on the new Council too!

The turnout was 37.56%    E=elected

Conservatives    6739 votes     56.7% of the votes cast

Labour            3574 votes     30.9% of the votes cast

Liberal Democrat  641 votes      5.4% of the votes cast

Independent        923 votes      7.8% of the votes cast

Total             11877 votes cast

On a per candidate basis ...

Les Ford              2303 votes            19.4% of the votes cast

Andrew Dawson   2254 votes            19.0% of the votes cast

Mark Ingram       2182 votes             18.4% of the votes cast

Brian Lloyd           1389 votes             11.7% of the votes cast

John Beech           1149 votes              9.6% of the votes cast

Alec Robertson    1036 votes              8.7% of the votes cast

Joan Laming           641 votes               5.4% of the votes cast

Frank Pennington   528 votes              4.4% of the votes cast

Tom Reynolds        395 votes               3.3% of the votes cast
